WOW!! This is an amazing cookbook, and I loved the idea of basing all of the recipes off of a single main sauce. The main sauce, “The Greek Yogurt Alfredo Sauce” is so simple to make. Which is nice for a non-chief over here. If you have not read about my cooking “issues” go check out here. To say that I can’t cook is an understatement, I am a hazard in the kitchen. We laugh about it, but really it is not a laughing matter. That is how bad I am.
But with this cookbook, I was able to make the base sauce and then able to make several of the recipes in this cookbook. My family was shocked, cause not only was I able to make them, they were awesome! To the point that my family asked if I would make them again. This never happens, normally my meals result in the family eating it (cause they are smart enough to know not to be rude to the hand that feeds them), but when I ask if I should make it again. They politely say no. Even my husband who is not a huge pasta lover, enjoyed these meals.
The sauce itself is super simple and easy to make. In fact you probably have everything that you need already in your kitchen to make it. Plus it is so much yummier then any store bought jar that you have ever purchased. All you need is:
- Olive Oil
- Chicken Broth
- Greek Yogurt
- Parmesan Cheese
That is it! Do you have all that in your kitchen? Even me, who doesn’t cook and certainly doesn’t cook from scratch had it all. Then from there you can make ANY of her recipes.
