Making Time For Fitness In Your Busy Schedule

Between work, taking care of the kids, and keeping on top of all your chores, where is the time left for anything else? Usually, it’s exercise that’s the first thing that will drop out of your schedule.

Try some activity at lunch

Mornings not for you? Why not do something on your lunch break instead? If there’s a gym nearby, or even a room where you can do a workout without being disturbed, you could save a lot of time in your day by working out at lunch. Some of the best lunchtime workout tips include being strategic with your hair and makeup and finding ways to make the most of the time you’ve got, like a HIIT workout, for example. Working out at lunch will also give you an energy and mood boost to help you get through the afternoon. 

Exercise when the kids exercise

If your evening and weekends are spent ferrying the kids around to their various activities, why not make the most of that time? If your kids are doing swim classes, go swimming at the same time! If they’re playing a sport outdoors, go for a run around the block! Being more active as a family is another good way to boost your fitness. There are hobbies and activities that will help you get fit that the family can join in with too, like cycling or horse riding. Spend time together on the weekends doing something that gets you all moving – you won’t even notice it’s exercise when you’re having fun together!
